Neil Armstrong National Memorial and Burial at Sea Images and Videos

A memorial service was held at the Washington National Cathedral Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, celebrating the life of Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. A burial at sea service was held aboard the USS Philippine Sea (CG 58), Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, in the Atlantic Ocean. Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon during the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, died Saturday, Aug. 25. He was 82.
